2024 Cultural Immersion Day

Come and join us for a full day of cultural immersion in the rainforest, where you will be taught traditional weaving, language, storytelling through art, and how to grow and harvest native edible plants. Uncle Dean Kelly joins us for a traditional welcome and smoking ceremony. Dr Jodi Edwards will share language and weaving. Amy Lee Hill will be teaching us storytelling through art, and we will be teaching you about native plants with lots of taste testing included. An indigenous-flavoured lunch, morning tea and afternoon tea will be provided along with morning and afternoon tea. We hope you can join us.
