Strappy foliage and fragrant cream/pale pink flowers occur spring and through summer.  

Edible uses: Edible tubers raw or roasted. Best eaten when young as they can become bitter as they age. 

Pests and Diseases: None known 

Uses in the garden: Grows well in a group to add some colour and fragrance in a mixed border. It also grows well in a pot with native potting mix. 

Position: Full sun to dappled shade.  

Propagation: The easiest way to propagate is by seed, which are collected from ripe fruit. Sow seed in  autumn or early spring. The tubers can also be divided in late winter and potted in early spring. 

Growing Range: From South east Queensland through to Tasmania.
