Very fragrant foliage with mauve blooms occurring in late winter and spring. It likes a part sun position and grows in the understorey. The fragrant foliage can be used throughout the garden and on the skin as a mosquito deterrent. 

Edible uses: The foliage can be used fresh or dried, as a tea and in savoury dishes.  

Pests and Diseases: Limited pest or disease problems. 

Uses in the garden: Grow in a mixed border or near windows or decks for the fragrant foliage. 

Position: Part shade position with some moisture. 

Propagation: Grows easily from semi-hardwood cuttings. 

Growing Range: Northern NSW to the Victorian Border.
