Arching branches with fine foliage and long yellow flowers in abundance in summer and autumn.
Edible uses: Geebung fruits ripen on the ground and are best when soft. Discard the skin and enjoy the soft pulp around the seed.
Pests and Diseases: No known pest or diseases.
Uses in the garden: In mixed shrub plantings.
Position: in a part shade position. Can do well under established trees.
Propagation: The Geebung family are a hard plant to propagate. The easiest way is by firm tip cuttings. There is a much more limited success with growing from seed.
Growing Range: Limited to the sandstone areas of the Sydney Basin.
